Classic Mini A series 1275cc

Currently in the process of being built is a fast road 1275cc A series Mini engine. This has had the piston to valve clearances checked before being stripped and having the block decked and cylinder head skimmed. New pistons were installed on the standard rods before being assembled with new main, big end and thrust bearings. A Kent cams race cam has been installed with new buckets and 1:1.5 ratio roller tip rockers. A Weber 45 carburetor has been set up initially for the new engine specification and will then be checked and altered once installed into the car on our dyno. The engine is going into a customers Clubman road car that is currently in the process of being fully restored.
